WIHS Agent

Serving Milwaukee and nearby areas like Wauwatosa, West Allis, and Shorewood.

Insurance you can understand on a normal Tuesday.

We’re an independent agency, so we can compare carriers and show you what’s different—limits, deductibles, and the parts that matter when something goes wrong. If you’re here because a renewal jumped, a home purchase is coming up, or your business contract needs specific wording, you’re in the right place.

About WIHS Agent

WIHS Agent is based in downtown Milwaukee and serves clients across Wisconsin. We’re small on purpose: you shouldn’t have to explain your story twice, and you shouldn’t need a glossary to understand a recommendation. We’ll talk through what you’re protecting, then show options with the trade-offs spelled out.

The local stuff matters. Milwaukee driving, older housing stock, lakefront weather swings, and landlord requirements can change what “good coverage” looks like. We keep the advice grounded: what happens in the real world, and how your policy responds.

Services & pricing

Choose a focused service if you want clear, contained help. If you place a new policy through WIHS Agent, we typically credit up to one service fee back at bind (we’ll confirm that in writing before you decide). Not every situation needs a full overhaul; sometimes you just need someone to translate.

Personal Policy Checkup

$165

A practical review of your auto, home, renters, or umbrella coverage with an eye for the “quiet gaps” that show up after a claim. We’ll flag weak liability limits, deductibles that don’t match your savings cushion, and common exclusions people assume they have covered. You’ll get a short action list you can use immediately.

Auto + Home Bundle Quote Package

$95

We collect your details once, shop across multiple carriers, and send back a clean comparison that’s easy to read. This is built for people dealing with a renewal increase or anyone tired of restarting a quote from scratch. We’ll also point out when “cheaper” is simply fewer protections.

Small Business Coverage Snapshot

$275

A straightforward coverage check for small businesses—contractors, consultants, shops, and service teams. We’ll translate contract requirements, review liability limits, and discuss whether a BOP, commercial auto, workers’ comp, or cyber coverage fits your day-to-day operations. Includes a short written summary.

COI Rush Service

$45

When you need a certificate of insurance quickly, we’ll submit the request, confirm the certificate holder details, and follow up so it doesn’t stall. This is helpful for landlord requests, job sites, venues, and any scenario that needs specific additional insured wording.

Annual Renewal Advocacy

$125

A once-a-year review for people who don’t want renewals to be a surprise. We go through your renewal terms, check what changed, and decide whether a re-shop is worth it. If it is, we do it. If it isn’t, you’ll get a short explanation so the increase doesn’t feel random.

Why it works

We show the differences

Not just a price. We highlight limits, deductibles, and the small print that changes outcomes.

You get a single point of contact

Certificates, changes, renewals—same agency, same thread, fewer dropped balls.

Local context

Milwaukee realities (driving, older homes, contracts) shape what we recommend.

No pressure pitch

If the best move is “keep what you have,” we’ll say that and explain why.

Process

Three steps, no drama. We start with what’s changing, we compare options, then we help you land it. If you’re remote, the process is the same—phone and email are fine.

01

Quick intake

We gather the info that changes pricing and coverage. If you have a declarations page, we’ll use it.

02

Compare & explain

We put quotes side-by-side and call out what’s different—especially the parts people miss.

03

Bind & support

If you move forward, we help with documents and stay available for changes, COIs, and renewals.

FAQ

A few quick answers. If yours is more specific (teen driver, landlord wording, short-term rental, business contract language), send it anyway—we’ll respond with what matters.

Can you work with me if I’m not in Milwaukee?

Yes. Milwaukee is our office, but we help clients across Wisconsin. Many quotes and changes can be handled by phone and email.

What should I send for the fastest quote?

A current declarations page is perfect. If you don’t have one, we’ll ask for the basics and fill in the rest as we go.

Do you handle certificates of insurance (COIs)?

We do. If your client or landlord needs specific wording or additional insured details, we’ll confirm the request and follow through with the carrier.

My renewal went up—does that always mean I should switch?

Not always. Sometimes a deductible adjustment or a coverage cleanup is the better move. We’ll tell you what’s driving the change and what your best levers are.

Contact

Tell us what’s changing and what you’re trying to protect. If you already have coverage, the declarations page helps us move faster. We respond during business hours.
